Carthage man out on bond after DUI arrest arrested again and charged with DUI

CARTHAGE, Ill. — A Carthage man who was out on bond after being arrested in May 2021 for driving under the influence of alcohol was arrested on Sunday morning and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.

The Hancock County 911 Dispatch Center received a report of a car in a ditch at 1985 E. County Road 800 at 4:04 a.m. When a deputy arrived, a black four-door car was discovered in a ditch. After an investigation, it was discovered that the driver, Jordan T.A. Quintero, 23, had ran off the road.

During Quintero’s booking, he made threats to the deputy. He also will face charges of threatening a public official. He remains lodged in the Hancock County Jail awaiting an initial appearance.
