Colchester man arrested for criminal sexual assault
COLCHESTER, Ill. — Hancock County Sheriff Travis Duffy reports that on Aug. 2 deputies investigated a report of criminal sexual assault which led to an arrest.
William Christopher Bueker, 36, of Colchester was arrested just after 1 a.m. at his home. The sheriff’s office had received a report of the assault at 11:24 p.m. Aug. 1 which occurred in Plymouth. After a preliminary investigation, Bueker was identified and subsequently located by the McDonough County Sheriff’s Office and held until arrested by arriving Hancock County deputies.
After his arrest, Bueker was transported to and held at the Hancock County Jail. An initial court appearance resulted in Bueker’s bond being set at $75,000.
