Hannibal police looking for suspect involved with shooting of man

HANNIBAL, Mo. — The Hannibal Police Department is searching for a suspect involved with the shooting of a man early Wednesday morning.
Police officers responded at approximately 12:23 a.m. to the 1700 block of Martin Street after receiving a report of gunshots being fired. When officers arrived on scene, they found evidence indicating a gun had been fired. Officers were told the victim had been transported from the area to Hannibal Regional Hospital by a private citizen.
Officers went to the hospital and contacted a male who had been shot. The gunshot wound did not appear to be life threatening.
