Kinderhook man arrested for DUI on ATV

NEW CANTON, Ill. — Deputies with the Pike County (Ill.) Sheriff’s Department responded to an ATV crash on Illinois 96 in New Canton just after 8 p.m. Saturday. A passenger on the ATV sustained injuries due to the crash.
Following an investigation, the driver of the ATV, Timothy R. Swartz , 34, of Kinderhook was arrested for aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident involving personal injury and other traffic violations.
Swartz was transported to the Pike County Jail where he was lodged pending a court appearance.
