Coatsburg family earns Dogwood Festival baby recognition

QUINCY — Ford Jacob Jagodzinski, newborn son of Elizabeth Kipp and Jacob Jagodzinski of Coatsburg, is the 2022 Dogwood Festival baby. Ford earned the honor by being the first baby born at Blessing Hospital after the start of the festival.
Ford was born at 6:34 p.m. Friday, May 6. He weighed 7 pounds and 5 ounces and was 20 inches long. Ford’s family receives $150 to use at Bergman Nurseries in Quincy, $100 of which was donated by Dogwood Festival sponsors and the remainder by Bergman Nurseries. This marks the 26th year for the Dogwood Festival baby recognition.
