Illinois State Police announces results of roadside safety checks in Adams County

PITTSFIELD, Ill. — Illinois State Police District 20 interim commander, Lt. Jeff Schisler, recently announced the results of two roadside safety checks by District 20 officers in Adams County — at the intersection of 20th and Oak from late night Wednesday, June 8, to early morning Thursday June 9, and at the intersection of 30th and State from late night Wednesday, June 29, to early morning Thursday, June 30.

Violations and enforcement activity:

  • Driving under the influence citations: 2
  • Other alcohol/drug citations: 3
  • Occupant restraint offenses: 1
  • Registration offenses: 9
  • Driver’s license offenses: 9
  • Insurance violations: 6
  • Total citations/arrests: 18
  • Total written warnings: 25
