QUINCY — Scout Troop 1 and Pack 1 will be the host of an Ash Wednesday fish fry on March 2 at Blessed Sacrament School.

The Ash Wednesday fish fry has been a tradition for more than 40 years and is one of the larger fundraisers for Scout Troop 1.  Serving hours are from 4-7 p.m. Patrons can either dine in or utilize the curbside carry-out service in front of the school on Seventh Street.

Catfish or pollock (2 fillets) will be served, along with macaroni and cheese, potato salad, cole slaw, applesauce, homemade desserts and a beverage for $12.50.  A macaroni and cheese dinner with the same side offerings will also be available for $6.

Organizers are expecting to serve at least 350 dinners. Scouts of all ages and parent/guardian volunteers will be available to assist.
