Macomb Area Chamber of Commerce holds Awards Happy Hour event

MACOMB, Ill. — The Macomb Area Chamber of Commerce held its 2022 annual Awards Happy Hour event on Wednesday, Feb. 22, at Macomb Dining Company, 127 E. Carroll.
The Macomb Area Chamber of Commerce acknowledged the efforts of several members, citizens and community leaders who played a vital part in the business community in 2022. The chamber also recognized outgoing board members Ryan Riggins (MidAmerica National Bank) and Christine Standard (Macomb Audiology and Hearing Aid).
Award winners were:
- Chamber Ambassador of the Year — Laura Leezer (Citizens Bank, a Division of Morton Community Bank).
- Chairman’s Award — Matt Lawver (United Community Bank).
- Business Leaders of the Year — Johnny McKee and Brian Kerr (Sports Corner @ 124).
- Business of the Year Award — The Wine Sellers.
