New London Park Days set for Friday and Saturday on grounds of New London courthouse

NEW LONDON, Mo. — New London Park Days will be held Friday and Saturday, June 6-7, on the grounds of the New London courthouse.

Activities on Friday are:

• 11 a.m.-craft booths and food vendors open
• Noon to midnight- beer garden open
• 1-10 p.m.-carnival rides
• 5 to 7:30 p.m.-The Glendale Riders on the main stage
• 9 p.m. to midnight-Clover Band on the main stage

Agenda for Saturday:

• 7 a.m. registration for baby contest in courtroom.
• 7 to 11 a.m.-New London Lion’s Club breakfast in the beer tent (biscuits and gravy, OJ and coffee)
• 8 a.m.-5K run/walk and baby contest
• 9 a.m.-craft booths open
• 10 a.m.- parade lineup on Eastside Dr.
• 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.-petting zoo
• 11 a.m.-food vendors open
• 11 a.m.-parade
•  11 a.m. to 10 p.m.-carnival (armbands 6 to 10 p.m.)
• Noon-sign up for cornhole tournament
• Noon to 2 p.m.-Pie contest check-in at Forget Me Not Senior citizen
• Noon to 2 p.m.-Kids zone on north side of courthouse lawn
• Noon to 2 p.m.-Mike Moore on the main stage
• Noon to midnight-beer garden open
• 1 p.m.-We Stand United puppetry and dance team in front of main stage
• 1 p.m.-cornhole tournament-Ruth Roy Wright Park
• 2 p.m. New London queen contest on main stage
• 3 to 5 p.m.-bingo
• 5 to 7 p.m.-Justice on main stage
• 7:30 p.m.-pie awards and pie auction
• 8 p.m.-Mr. Legs contest
• 9 p.m. to midnight-Breakdown Shakedown on the main stage
