Visitor center at Mark Twain Lake to be closed twice in April for parking lot work

MARK TWAIN LAKE, Mo. — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is closing the M.W. Boudreaux Memorial Visitor Center and Recreation Area on April 7-8 for the resurfacing of the parking lot. The center will reopen for the weekend at 9 a.m. April 9.

The center will have a secondary closure from 6 a.m. to midnight on April 11 for parking lot striping. During these brief closures you may call the Mark Twain Lake Project Office at 573-735-4097 for information.

People who need to redeem the temporary receipt for an annual pass should mail the receipt with name and address to the Mark Twain Lake Project Office at 20642 Highway J, Monroe City, Mo., 63456 or email it to marktwaininfo@usace.army.mil within 14 days of purchase. Upon receipt, an annual pass will be mailed. The annual pass will expire one year from the date of purchase and is honored nationwide.
