Cheer camp set for Feb. 12 with performance to be held at halftime of QND basketball game

QUINCY — A cheer camp for kids ages 3 years to eighth grade will be held Feb. 12 in the multipurpose room at Quincy Notre Dame, 10th and Jackson.

Campers will perform Valentine’s Day-themed routines at halftime of the varsity boys basketball game between Quincy Notre Dame and Rushville-Industry at the Pit.

Participants should wear comfortable shorts or pants. A T-shirt will be provided to wear for the performance. Participants must bring a mask to wear during the camp, but they won’t wear it while performing.

Check-in begins at 5 p.m., and the camp begins at 5:15 p.m. The cost of the camp is $30. Participants will receive a T-shirt, pizza, cheer bow and admission into the game.
