Mark Twain Casino raises $3,378 for Fishing For Freedom

LAGRANGE, Mo. — Mark Twain Casino raised $3,378 during its recent fundraising initiative in support of Fishing For Freedom, a nonprofit organization dedicated to honoring and aiding the nation’s veterans through therapeutic outdoor experiences.
The initiative encouraged guests to donate cash toward the cause, with the casino matching every dollar up to $100 in free play. The campaign not only raised funds but also raised awareness of the vital mission of Fishing For Freedom, which organizes free fishing tournaments that pair veterans and active-duty military with volunteer boaters.
“We are truly humbled by the overwhelming response from our patrons,” Ryan Lounsbury, general manager of Mark Twain Casino, said in a press release. “Their generosity and willingness to support Fishing For Freedom exemplify the spirit of compassion and unity that defines our community. We are thrilled to continue this promotion to benefit our local communities.”
