Applications for Ralls County senior real estate property tax relief program due Monday

RALLS COUNTY, Mo. — Ralls County officials are reminding senior residents that the deadline to apply for the Senior Real Estate Property Tax Relief Program is 4:30 p.m. on Monday, June 30.

Eligibility requirements:

  • Must be a resident of Ralls County, Missouri.
  • Must have been at least 62 years of age by Jan. 1, 2025.
  • Must own and occupy the property as a primary residence.

Applications and complete program details, including the official ordinance, are available online at rallscountymo.gov/senior-real-estate-tax-relief. Completed applications should be submitted to the Ralls County Courthouse located at 311 S. Main Street, New London, MO 63459. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (closed for lunch from noon to 1 p.m.).

“This initiative reflects our commitment to supporting the seniors who have contributed so much to our community,” Tara Comer, Ralls County Collector, said in a press release. “We urge all eligible residents to apply before the June 30 deadline.”
