Quincy Children’s Museum to host “Story Time with the Author” Sunday featuring Brittany Musholt

QUINCY — Quincy Children’s Museum, located at 11 N. Fourth St., invites families to a special “Story Time with the Author” event at 10 a.m. on Sunday, July 6, featuring Brittany Musholt, a speech therapist and children’s book author.
Musholt will share her heartwarming book, A Tail of Empathy: Rocky Gains a Brother, which uses playful storytelling to help young readers understand empathy, kindness and what it means to welcome someone new. With charming illustrations and a focus on emotional learning, the book is perfect for young children and families.
Doors open at 10 a.m., with a book reading at 10:30. Guests are welcome to stay and play in the museum afterward. Attendees can also have their copy of the book signed by Musholt during the event.
“We’re so excited to welcome Brittany back to Quincy to share her story with local families,” said Amy Peters, QCM’s executive director, in a press release. “Events like this support our mission of learning through play while connecting children with important values like empathy.”
General admission price for the museum is $5 for ages 1–12, $2 for ages 13 and older and for children under the age of one.
