Frese announces re-election run
QUINCY — Rep. Randy Frese (R-Paloma) has announced he is running for re-election to be one of three people who will represent Adams County in the Illinois House of Representatives.
The new legislative maps divide Adams into the 94th, 99th and 100th Districts. The 99th House District consists of all or parts of Adams, Brown, Cass, Morgan and Schuyler counties.
Rep. C.D. Davidsmeyer (R-Jacksonville) will run for the 100th District and Rep. Norine Hammond (R-Macomb) is running for the 94th District.
Frese was first elected to the Illinois House in 2014 and has served since. He served two terms as Adams County Circuit Clerk from 2004 to 2012. He was unsuccessful in a state senate bid versus Democrat John Sullivan in 2012.
Frese earned his Bachelor of Sciences in Applied Sciences/Agriculture at Western Illinois University. He and his wife, Ronda, have three adult daughters.
