Indiana man arrested in Barry on multiple drug counts

BARRY, Ill. — During the early morning of January 24, a Pike County Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop on the eastbound onramp of I-72 in Barry.
Subsequent to the stop, Kirk M. Beumer, 26, of Sheridan, Indiana was arrested for:
- Possession of Methamphetamine
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- Possession With the Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance
- Driving Under the Influence of a Drug Substance or Intoxicating Compound
Beumer was transported to the Pike County Jail where he was lodged pending a court appearance.
