QUINCY — A Quincy woman, already lodged in the Adams County Jail, was arrested Jan. 31 on an indictment for a drug-induced homicide and two counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance.

Officers from the Quincy Police Department responded in March 2021 to a death investigation at 1255 Maine. The victim was identified as Jillian Hogan, 21, of Quincy. Her cause of death was determined to be fentanyl intoxication.

After a several months-long investigation, Caitlin Dietiker, 22, was identified as a suspect in supplying Hogan with the fentanyl that ultimately caused her death. The indictment was served on Dietiker in the jail, where she already was lodged on unrelated charges of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance in March and possession of a controlled substance charges in July.
