JWCC looking for softball coach

QUINCY –

Director of Athletics Brad Hoyt has announced that Andy Gronewold has resigned as the head women’s softball coach at John Wood Community College. Coach Gronewold just finished his first season as the Head Coach of the Lady Blazers. A search for his replacement will begin immediately.

“Coach Gronewold was the perfect fit for this position and we appreciate his investment into our student-athletes, our softball program, and our college. Going through a COVID-coaching year was not ideal for anyone and certainly not for a first year in our department. His work and commitment has put the personality of the program in a good place, “ Athletic Director Brad Hoyt commented.
