Madison County woman arrested for Pleasant Hill theft

PLEASANT HILL, Ill. — A Madison County woman has been arrested following an investigation of a mid-March theft in Pleasant Hill.
Just after 7:30 a.m. on March 14 ,the Pleasant Hill Police Department and Pike County Sheriff’s Department were dispatched to a residence in the 500 block of Carolina Street in Pleasant Hill in reference to a theft complaint.
As a result of the investigation, Jennifer K. Hughes, 39, of Cottage Hills, was arrested for the offense of felony theft.
Hughes is now in custody at the Pike County Jail.
