Distinguished Alumni Award to be given to three Culver-Stockton alums during Friday banquet
CANTON, Mo. — Culver-Stockton College will host its annual Alumni Honors Banquet on Friday, as part of a special Spring Honors Weekend.
The institution will confer its top alumni recognition, the Distinguished Alumni Award, on three alumni during Friday’s reception. This year’s recipients are:
- Gina (Hagen) Driscoll (Class of 1983) of East Peoria, Ill., a member of the Culver-Stockton College Board of Trustees. She served in a number of leadership roles with State Farm Insurance during her 34-year career;
- Robert “Bob” Stone (Class of 1971), who will be honored posthumously. He was a member of the Culver-Stockton College Board of Trustees and founded AMS Chemical; and
- Z. Bruno Wu (Class of 1990) of Shanghai, China, a technology and media entrepreneur.
Recipients of the Outstanding Young Alumni Award are Jennifer (McReynolds) Berhorst (Class of 2006) of Kansas City, who is a partner at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP; and Aaron Niemeier (Class of 2000) of Lenexa, Kan., who has served in many leadership roles in information technology and financial services.
Quincy, Ill., native Anthony Crane (Class of 1974), a founding partner and a past officer in the architectural-engineering firm of Architechnics, Inc., will receive the Alumni Leadership and Service Award in recognition of his longtime service on the Culver-Stockton College Board of Trustees and his involvement with other local and regional volunteer organizations.
In addition to conferring alumni awards, Culver-Stockton College will recognize two at-large C-SC community members for their contributions. The Dome Award, which honors a college employee who has played an essential role in the advancement of the college, will be awarded to James Cosgrove (Class of 1997) of Hamilton, Ill. He was a longtime accounting and business law professor until his 2021 retirement. The Honorary Wildcat Award will be conferred upon Donna Stone of South Barrington, Ill.
