QUINCY — The Historic Quincy Business District is launching a series of networking events titled “Drinks in the District” that will take place duringthe second Wednesday of each month at rotating establishments throughout downtown Quincy.

The first event is scheduled for 5:30 p.m., Wednesday at the Quincy Brewing Company, 110 N. Sixth. The events are free and open to the public.

Attendees can expect a casual environment to learn about upcoming events in The District, as well as meet with District staff to share feedback or suggestions on District activities. Visitors will have an opportunity to learn about and sign up for any volunteer District activities. The event is designed to be a networking event, allowing prospective and current business owners to interact and build camaraderie.

Complimentary snacks will be provided by Quincy Brewing Company during Wednesday’s event.

The “Drinks in the District” event for May is set for May 11 at the Ratskeller, 929 York.
