Letter to the Editor: I won’t try to fly out of Quincy again on Cape Air
Just wanted to add to your article on cancellations with Cape Air.
In January, I needed to fly to Chicago for connections to Virginia due to an emergency. My flight on Cape Air was in the air for about 10 minutes or so (very small plan and very bumpy), then turned around and returned to the airport. We where told by the pilot that there was engine problems.
I arranged for a flight the next morning, but when I arrived to the airport, I was told the aircraft they brought in for that flight also had engine problems.
Our city fathers decided on an airline based on the price. You pick cheap, you get cheap.
The prior contract with Cape Air had the same issues.
I will not try to fly out of Quincy again on Cape Air.
