Melrose Chapel to hold 147th annual Strawberry Festival on June 4

QUINCY — Melrose Chapel United Methodist Church will hold its 147th annual Strawberry Festival from 3-7 p.m. Saturday, June 4 at 3600 Payson Road.
The festival will feature a variety of strawberry desserts: a cup of strawberries, strawberry shortcakes, strawberry sundaes and strawberry supreme — a combination of a shortcake and a sundae. Sandwiches, chips, drinks and baked goods also are available. Patrons may dine at the church or carry out.
This event has grown into the church’s largest fundraiser.
