Historical Society to hold annual meeting Sunday afternoon at History Museum

QUINCY — The Historical Society of Quincy and Adams County will hold its annual meeting at 1 p.m. Sunday, June 26, in the History Museum on the square, 332 Maine.

The agenda will consist of the election of officers and directors; approval of the annual financial report; approval of the budget for the upcoming year; a report by the society’s president; and standing committee reports on building and grounds, exhibits, programs and education.

Following the meeting at approximately 2 p.m., Quincy University’s Justin Coffey will present a program entitled “Nixon: A New Look at His Legacy.” The program is sponsored by HSQAC member Steve Parker.

The meeting and program are both free and open to the public as well as the organization’s membership.
