Center man facing sexual assault, abuse charges in Griggsville case involving two victims under age 13

GRIGGSVILLE, Ill. — Charles Sonny Ray Martin, 36, of Center, Mo., was arrested on June 16 on three counts of predatory criminal sexual assault and aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
The Pike County Sheriff’s Department initiated a sexual assault investigation in Griggsville on Dec. 22, 2021, involving two victims both under the age of 13 years old.
Martin remains lodged in the Pike County Jail in lieu of a $500,000 bond.
