Hannibal Police Department outlines parking restrictions for 4th of July parade
HANNIBAL, Mo. — Parking restrictions for the the Hannibal Cannibal and the 4th of July parade have been established by the Hannibal Police Department.
No parking will be allowed along the Hannibal Cannibal race course or the parade route starting at 2 a.m. the morning of July 4 to the conclusion of each event. Officers will be contacting businesses along the parade route the evening of July 3 to inform them of the parking restrictions. Any vehicle found parked along the route two hours prior to the event may be subject to tow.
The Hannibal Cannibal will begin at 6 a.m. at North and Main. Participants will go down S. Main to Church, across the Third Street overpass and then head out of town on Mo. 79. Runners will turn around and return to the city on the same route. Mo. 79 will be completely shut down at the intersection with Church until the end of the race.
The parade will begin at 10 a.m. at Broadway and Grand Avenue. It will travel east on Broadway to Main, then go south. The parade will end at Church.
