CARTHAGE, Ill. — The Legacy Theater will echo with the sounds of the 1960s and 1970s as “Pendulum: a Tribute to Creedence Clearwater Revival” takes the stage at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 9.

While the original CCR band, led by John Fogerty, only performed from 1959 to 1972, their music remains a classic sound of the era. Pendulum brings back that memory for folks who remember the band and for those who have heard their music continue through the decades. Expect familiar tunes such as “Looking Out My Back Door,” “Who’ll Stop the Rain,” “Bad Moon Rising” and “Proud Mary.”

Pendulum has been touring the country since its inception in 2018, starting its summer series this year in the Twin Lakes amphitheater of eastern Pennsylvania. Lead singer Brian Rause has perfected the sound of Fogerty in the music that blends the genres of pop, blues and country. He is joined by drummer Rocco Gaudiano, and singer/vocalists Denny Bondra and Rudy Velosky, all from Pennsylvania.

This show is sponsored by Chemgro, a full service agriculture retail business located in southeast Iowa, west central Illinois and northeast Missouri.

Tickets for the Pendulum and other upcoming shows are available at The Legacy Theater box
office from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. Call the office at 217-357-9479 for more information.
