YWCA’s ‘Voice for All Women’ gala to honor three on Aug. 26
QUINCY — The YWCA of Quincy will honor three people Friday, Aug. 26 during its “A Voice for All Women” gala at the Oakley-Lindsay Center.
LaTonya Brock will receive the Woman of Achievement award, Dallas Duncan-Klauser will receive the Phoenix award, and Kaitlyn Smith will receive the Young Woman of Achievement award.
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. with a full dinner buffet and cash bar beginning at 6 p.m.
Following the awards, a lip sync showdown will be held featuring the lip sync talents of:
- Chris Austin of Quincy Country Club Rethink Media Group
- Dr. Erin Sheffield of Quincy Medical Group
- Austin Young of 644 Maine
- Heidi and the Salvation Army Group
- Shawn Jones of Beats Academy; and
- Trenton Henderson of Quincy University
Judges for the contest are Nathan Wall of Knapheide, Eric Thomas of Electric Oak and Charity Bell of WGEM.
