Two charged with sale of meth, controlled substances in Pittsfield in September investigation
PITTSFIELD, Ill. — The Pittsfield Police Department recently requested charges against two people as part of an ongoing investigation into the illegal sale of methamphetamine and controlled substances in Pittsfield.
Pike County State’s Attorney Zack Boren charged two subjects on Dec. 6 with felonies because of the investigation.
Boren charged Taylor Hicks, 26, with two counts of delivering methamphetamine. These charges stem from an ongoing investigation conducted by the Pittsfield Police Department in September 2022. The charges allege Hicks delivered methamphetamine to a subject in Pittsfield. Bond was set at $50,000.
Boren charged Lisa Guthrie, 44, with one count of illegal use of property. These charges stem from the same investigation. The charges allege Guthrie allowed the use of her property to facilitate meth use and distribution in September 2022. Bond was set at $30,000.
The subjects are still in custody.
