Encore! to offer Fairy Tale Tea for preschool-fifth grade students on Feb. 25

QUINCY — Encore!, the volunteer council for the Quincy Symphony Orchestra Association and sponsored by The Kaiser Dance Studio, invites children in grades preschool-fifth grade to attend a Fairy Tale Tea at Spring Lake Country Club on Saturday, Feb. 25. Sessions will be available at 9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.

Children attending are encouraged to dress as their favorite fairy tale character. The tea will offer the opportunity to visit with Disney characters while enjoying treats, crafts, photo opportunities and dancing.

Many exciting door prizes will go to lucky attendees including two $150 gift certificates to the American Girl Doll Store, quilts by Seams Divine, mother/daughter hats from Impossibly Cute Hats, Emotion Belly Books by children’s author Tracy Schlepphorst and more.

Cost for the Fairy Tale Tea is $30 per guest. Registration can be completed online with a credit card at http://www.encorequincy.com/fairytaleteaquincy.html. A registration form can also be printed at this site and then mailed with payment to the address provided on the form. If you wish to sit with friends, buy tickets together. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Registration deadline is Feb. 17.

The tea is a Symphony of Trees fundraising event that has generated more than a half-million dollars since 1992. Profits support local music education and appreciation.

  • Annual Young People’s Concert for area elementary students
