Police searching for man who allegedly fired gun at vehicle on Bonansinga Drive
QUINCY — The Quincy Police Department is searching for a man who allegedly fired a gun at an occupied vehicle Tuesday night.
Officers with the Quincy Police Department were dispatched to 1021 Bonansinga Drive at 8:12 p.m. Tuesday for a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, the officers learned Michael S. Coffman Jr. had fired a handgun from Kesler Park toward an occupied vehicle driving south on Bonansinga Drive. Coffman had left the area before the officers’ arrival.
An arrest warrant is being sought for Coffman for aggravated discharge of a firearm. QPD officials said in a press release they do not believe the incident was a random shooting.
