Woodcarving group in Hannibal schedules first meeting for Tuesday

HANNIBAL, Mo. — Hannibal woodcarver Steve Holt recently gathered local interest in a woodcarving group, and the first group meeting has now been scheduled.  An informal gathering surrounding the art of wood carving will he held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 21. at the Hannibal Arts Council, 105 S. Main.

The hope for the group is to ultimately host monthly meetings where participants are encouraged to bring their own work projects and work alongside fellow woodcarvers while sharing projects, techniques and various forms of woodcarving. All carving skill levels, from beginner to advanced, and all age groups are welcome.
