Ticket prices cut in half for Spring Cha-Ching raffle offered by Hannibal VFW
HANNIBAL, Mo. — To help serve people who honorably served the United States in times of war, VFW Post 2446 Auxiliary, 209 Bird, will hold a Spring Cha-Ching raffle beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 18.
Five hundred tickets will be sold. VFW President Joe Desmond says the cost of a ticket recently was been cut from $50 apiece to $25. If all the tickets are sold, 50 cash prizes will be awarded to the randomly chosen winners. The prize pool will be adjusted accordingly depending on the number of tickets sold. Winning ticketholders do not need to be present at the event. After the prizes are awarded, the remaining money will help to fund the building remodel/modernization efforts currently underway.
Tickets may be bought from VFW Post 2446 members directly, from the VFW Post 2446 Canteen (during open hours) or by emailing a representative at spring.chaching2446@gmail.com to make purchase arrangements.
The VFW Auxiliary has united Americans from all walks of life since 1914 to improve the lives of veterans, service members and their families and our communities.
