Quincy Art Center to celebrate 100th anniversary with a centennial soirée March 25

QUINCY — To celebrate its 100th anniversary, the Quincy Art Center is hosting a centennial soirée from 7-10 p.m. on Saturday, March 25, at the State Street Theater, 434 S. Eighth.

The theme of the event is the painting “Starry Night” by Vincent Van Gogh. Highlights from the event will include themed drinks and appetizers, a visual art auction, a photo booth with a professional photographer and the musical stylings of local band Gypsy Tango Foxtrot.

Attendees are welcome to use the theme as inspiration for their attire for the evening.

Tickets are $75. The ticket includes a themed cocktail, glass of wine or beer, and appetizers. Event vendors are Wicked Thyme Charcuterie, Sugarbug Cotton Candy and Mindy’s Cookie Creations. A cash bar will be available.

The soirée is for adults 21 years old and up. Proceeds benefit The Art Center and its mission to connect people to the power of art by creating opportunities to experience, make and share art.
