Marion and Ralls County Election Results
HANNIBAL, Mo. – One Hannibal School Board member will keep his seat while two new members will take a place at the table.
Blane Mundle was re-elected to the board with 1,813 votes. Mundle spent 28 years in education as a teacher, coach and principal with the Hannibal Public School District before retiring in.
Jeff Evans was elected to the board with 1,517 votes. Evans has been a family physician for 25 years and a parent to five past or present students in the Hannibal School District.
Stacey Graves was elected to the board with 1,517 votes. Graves is a retired teacher after 39 years with 31 of those at the Hannibal Public School District.
Evans and Graves replace Brad Kurz and Michael Holliday.

Marijuana Tax
Marion and Ralls County and Palmyra and Hannibal voters voted to add a 3% sales tax sales tax on all tangible personal property retail sales of adult marijuana

The proposed tax increase to 25 cents on county nursing home tax for Maple Lawn Nursing Home in Palmyra.
Yes: 1,955 46.37 %
No: 2,262 53.63 %
Proposition R
Hannibal voters approved the recycling tax of $1.90 per month to continue the city recycling service with 2 Rivers Industries.
Yes: 1,130 60.49%
No: 738 39.51 %
Voters from Center and Perry voted not to conduct annual elections if the number of candidates is equal to the number of positions to be filed.
New London voters approved a $5,000,000 bond proposal to expand and improve the city’s wastewater and drinking water systems.
