Casino Royale event on Friday to benefit local pediatric speech therapy program
HANNIBAL, Mo. — Hannibal Regional Foundation and O.C. Wilson Scottish Rite are teaming up for a night to raise funds for the pediatric speech therapy department at Hannibal Regional Hospital.
The fourth annual Casino Royale event on Friday, April 21, will bring blackjack, roulette and other casino games to the community. The event will be catered by Chef Cory and Jared from Hannibal Regional Hospital and offer an assortment of heavy appetizers and sweets.
Funds raised by the Scottish Rite provide scholarships and resources to support pediatric speech therapy services at Hannibal Regional. The Scottish Rite has given more than $145,000 since 2010 for scholarships, training for Hannibal Regional Speech Therapy team members and other resources used for therapy.
Casino Royale will be held at the Rialto Banquet Hall, with doors opening at 5p.m. and games starting at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $40 per person or $75 per couple. They can be bought in advance by contacting the Hannibal Regional Pediatric Speech Therapy Department at 573-406-5777 or the Hannibal Regional Foundation at 573-629-3577 or at the door that night. The ticket price includes appetizers, one complimentary drink and chips for the gaming tables.
