Quincy Community Theatre celebrate 100th anniversary with Ultimate Cast Party on May 12

QUINCY — Quincy Community Theatre will be the host of the Ultimate Cast Party beginning at 5:30 p.m. Friday, May 12, at the theatre. The event is free to attend; however, RSVP’s are requested by visiting 1QCT.org/UCP23 or calling the box office at 217-222-3209.

Cast, crew and volunteers from previous Quincy Community Theatre productions are invited back for the biggest bash of the last 100 years. Theatre families will reunite and party both onstage and backstage to celebrate their legacy. Hors d’oeuvres will be served at this open house style event. A cash bar will be available.

In a press release, QCT Executive Director Burgundy Hill said, “Our 100-year legacy would not be possible without the hard work and dedication of our volunteers who are at the heart of every production. We envision this event as a kind of homecoming where volunteers of past and present are invited back to celebrate Quincy Community Theatre’s momentous anniversary.”

The event is family-friendly and will contain several activities for theatre volunteers of all ages to engage in. From karaoke on the stage to a QCT-inspired scavenger hunt and silent auction with pieces from beloved productions, this will be an event unlike any other at Quincy Community Theatre.
