Blessing Health to be host of community job skills and hiring event on Friday
QUINCY — Working for Blessing Health will be the focus of the next Community Job Skills workshop and hiring event. The workshop will take place from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Friday, April 28, at the Quincy Senior and Family Resource Center, 639 York. The event is sponsored by Blessing Health, West Central Illinois Area Agency on Aging and the Illinois Department of Employment Security.
No advanced registration is needed. On-site registration takes place at 9 a.m. followed by two free informational sessions for job seekers before onsite interviews are conducted. The 9:15 a.m. session is titled “Why Blessing?” At 9:45 a.m., the topic will be “Earn While You Learn: Blessing Hospital Certified Nurse Assistant training program.”
Interviews with Blessing Health hiring leaders will begin at 10:15 a.m. Among the departments for which interviews will be conducted are the certified nurse assistant training program, the Early Learning Center, Denman Linen, environmental services and food and nutrition departments.
