Admiral Coontz Recreation Center to close for Independence Day
HANNIBAL, Mo. — The Admiral Coontz Recreation Center will be closed Tuesday, July 4, to celebrate Independence Day and will reopen at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 5. There will be no senior adult dance.
Regular hours for the Admiral Coontz Recreation Center are 7:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday through Friday with the weekly senior adult dances held every Tuesday from noon-3 p.m.
The Admiral Coontz Recreation Center is open during daytime hours for walking and other activities with an attendant is on duty to loam out athletic equipment and games. There is a special room with equipment for developmentally disabled individuals.
