‘Raise a Glass for Matt’ fundraiser set for Sunday at Uncle Bob’s Bar

QUINCY — The pubic is invited to “Raise a Glass for Matt” at a fundraiser for Matt Veneris from 1-5 p.m. Sunday, July 23, at Uncle Bob’s Bar, 1301 N. 12th.

Veneris is in the end stage of liver disease, and a transplant is his only hope for a better quality of life. Being unable to work for the past eight months has depleted his unemployment and savings.

The fundraiser will offer a 50/50 raffle, silent auction and pulled pork meal.
