HANNIBAL, Mo. — Becky Evans, chair of the youth committee for the Hannibal Arts Council, was the featured speaker at the Early Bird Kiwanis meeting on July 27.

Evans was in attendance to talk about the upcoming “Wild and Wacky Art Adventure” to be held on Saturday Aug. 5. The theme for this year’s event is Dinosaurs Galore.

The Wild and Wacky Art Adventure was created to provide a positive activity in which parents and children can interact, work side by side, explore creativity and, in some ways, strengthen the sense of family.

At the meeting, the Kiwanis group presented Evans with a check for $350 to help support the event. The event attracted more than 300 youths and more than 100 adults last year.
