QUANADA to celebrate 40th anniversary with Ruby Masquerade Ball on Oct. 21 at One Event Venue
QUINCY — QUANADA will hold a ruby masquerade ball at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21 at One Event Venue to celebrate its 40th year of helping survivors of domestic and sexual violence seek safety and begin healing.
The event will feature:
- Elegant masquerade atmosphere: Guests are encouraged to don their most enchanting masks and attire, adding an air of mystique and charm to the evening.
- Dinner and dancing: Indulge in delectable gourmet appetizers by Dunnbelly and Thyme Square and then dance the night away to live music performed by Jukebox Reloaded.
- Champagne toast raffle: Enter to win exclusive items in our raffle including a ruby pendant necklace.
In a press release, Megan Duesterhaus, chief executive officer of QUANADA, said, “We can’t wait to celebrate with everyone who has played a part in our journey over the past four decades. Together we will recommit to fighting for a community where survivors are met with compassion, empowerment and justice.”
Tickets for the Masquerade Ball are $70 per person and are available for purchase at www.quanada.org.
All proceeds from the event will directly benefit QUANADA.
QUANADA is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering survivors of domestic and sexual violence by providing trauma-informed services while engaging the community. For the past 40 years, they have been committed to building a community that supports and helps heal survivors of domestic and sexual violence. Services include emergency shelter, transitional housing, counseling, support groups, legal/medical advocacy, 24-hour crisis hotline and community engagement and education.
