Quincy Police Department investigating shots fired incident near Fifth and Jersey early Sunday morning

QUINCY — The Quincy Police Department is responding to shots fired incident early Sunday.

Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Jersey at 2:44 a.m. Sunday for a report of multiple shots fired. Upon a search of the area, officers located numerous shell casings. 

At the time, witnesses were uncooperative, and no victims have come forward. A vehicle was damaged in the parking lot, but no injuries are known at this time. 

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is requested to contact the Quincy Police Department or Crimestoppers.
