Friends of Unit 4 Fall Festival set for Sept. 11 at Adams County Fairgrounds

MENDON — The Friends of Unit 4 Fall Festival, honoring local military, veterans and first responders, is set for Sept. 11 at the Adams County Fairgrounds.

A trap shoot begins at 1 p.m., with sign up at noon. Also offered is a barbecue contest, bags tournament (sign up at 1 p.m., games at 2 p.m.), a vendor blender from 2-6 p.m., food, poker tables, fireworks, kids activities from 3-8 p.m., and fireworks. 

Live music from the Devin Clemons Band begins at 7:30 p.m. A raffle will be held, with $10,000 for first prize, a $1,500 meat bundle for second place and a $1,500 wine trip for four to Hermaqnn, Mo., for third place.

All proceeds benefit Unit 4 schools.
