Electric Fountain Brewing moves back to Sixth Street

EFB

QUINCY — Electric Fountain Brewing has returned to Sixth Street, although the address is officially on Hampshire.

The coffee and roasting house has moved from its alley location behind Quincy Axe Company to 534 Hampshire, on the southwest corner of 6th and Hampshire.

“We are currently doing some work inside our new building including customizing the bar area and getting our coffee roaster setup able to roast coffee for our shop and all of our wholesale clients,” said EFB owner Ryan Christian.

EFB began serving coffee at its new location Tuesday morning.

“At our new home, we’ll be serving up the same passion for coffee and creating a cozy, warm, and welcoming ambiance for our community suited with more tables and outlets,” Christian said. “We will also have a bigger kitchen area to allow us to experiment with more food options along with a custom designed workspace behind the bar for our baristas to help them better serve our customers with our hand crafted creations.”

Christian said the new location also more roasting space to be better set up for receiving green coffee deliveries, roasting, and packaging coffee for wholesale accounts. He said that side of the business has exploded over the last year.
