Adams Telephone Co-Operative employees contribute more than $20,000 to United Way campaign

QUINCY — Employees of Adams Telephone Co-Operative recently presented a check for $20,197.10 to the United Way of Adams County, Inc., at its Quincy office.

The United Way of Adams County advocates for education, financial stability and health.

In a press release, Jim Broemmer, chief executive officer, said, “Adams has a longstanding relationship with the United Way that we are very proud of and is a previous Small Business Hero Award recipient, so it was with great pleasure that we were able to contribute our second largest donation ever this year.

“Our team of dedicated individuals offered great community support once again at a time when it is really needed locally. The profound impact our employees’ generous contributions make substantially benefits our community in immeasurable ways.”
