Fourth man arrested in connection to Nov. 5 burglary along North Bottom Road

QUINCY — A fourth man was arrested Monday by deputies with the Adams County Sheriff’s Department in connection to a Nov. 5 burglary at a residence in the 4300 block of North Bottom Road.

Jamar R. Washington is lodged in the Adams County Jail. He has been charged with residential burglary and possession of stolen property.

Deputies with the Adams County Sheriff’s Department were dispatched at approximately 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 5 to the North Bottom Road residence. Multiple suspects were identified after surveillance footage was reviewed.

Deputies later that day conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle associated with the burglary. Tynell R. Washington, 39, of the 600 block of N. Seventh and Ashton T. Summers, 19, of the 400 block of N. Sixth were taken into custody. Two juvenile passengers were released to the custody of their parents, pending a review of the case by the Adams County State’s Attorney’s Office. A female driver was released without charges.

Washington was charged with residential burglary, unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon, unlawful possession of ammunition by a felon and armed habitual offender. 

Summers was charged with residential burglary and possession of a firearm without a FOID card. 

Tyree L. Thompson, 39, was apprehended Monday, Nov. 6 at his residence. Two search warrants were executed at 620½ N. Sixth and 606½ N. Seventh. Several stolen items from the burglary were found in both residences during the execution of the search warrants, including six firearms and several hundred rounds of ammunition. 

All four men are lodged in the Adams County Jail.
