Wharton joins First Bankers Trustshares, Inc. board of directors
QUINCY — First Bankers Trustshares, Inc. recently announced Erin Wharton will join its board of directors. She will join the Board as of Dec. 1.
Wharton, a certified public accountant, has served as a partner at Gray Hunter Stenn LLP since 2018. She provides audit, tax and consulting services to businesses and nonprofits. She has volunteered in religion, education, business development, philanthropy and art.
The CEO of First Bankers Trustshares, Inc., Allen W. Shafer, said in a press release, “We are thrilled to welcome Erin to our board of directors. Her extensive background in accounting and engagement in our community align perfectly with our values at First Bankers Trust. We believe she will bring invaluable insights that will contribute to the strategic growth and success of our organization.”
Chairman of the board William D. Daniels added, “Erin brings a diversity of talent, experience and skills, which will be valuable to our company. Erin’s presence will enrich our board discussions and decision-making processes.”
Wharton is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society.
