JWCC Student Life organization to be host for ‘Winter Wonderland’ for children on Wednesday
QUINCY — John Wood Community College’s Student Life organization will host the family event, “Winter Wonderland,” from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6, at the Spring Valley Trails near the rear parking lot on the southeast corner of the Quincy campus.
The event is an outdoor opportunity featuring pictures with Santa, a campfire, hot chocolate, treats and activities. Cost is $5. Proceeds will benefit JWCC’s food pantry.
Children of all ages are welcome and JWCC will take pictures and post the photos on the college’s Facebook page. By attending this event, attendees agree to have their likeness recorded for possible college use. Parents and guardians are welcome to take personal photos as well.
In case of inclement weather, the event will be held in the Mary Ellen Orr Auditorium lobby inside the JWCC Heath Center.
