More than $430,000 raised in Salvation Army’s Tree of Lights Christmas campaign

QUINCY — The Salvation Army of Quincy Christmas campaign chairs Hal and Kathy Oakley recently announced a total of $437,918 was raised.

The money raised during the campaign helps provide Christmas assistance and funding programs and services that assist people and families in the Adams, Brown and Pike county areas daily throughout the year.

The organization also announced the winners of the Golden Bucket, Captain Kettle Mascot Challenge, Golden Bell and Volunteer of the Year.

  • Golden Bucket: Quincy Fire Department and Tri-Township Fire District
  • Captain Kettle Mascot Challenge: Quincy Notre Dame High School Raider
  • Golden Bell: Quincy Noon Kiwanis
  • Volunteer of the Year: Linda Schuttler
